its been a hectic weekend for me with lot of running around but yup !! i dd find time to craft though !! i made this card & i absolutely adore it.i love d combination very much.wts your take on it ??

OH LORD !!
i've been bitten by d ribbon flower bug ;)its been raining crazy since morning in delhi & i found d perfect environment to craft some flowers from a special satin ribbon .this ribbon is about 2" in width & has a pretty shaded effect.i had made flowers out of these when i was in school n now suddenly i laid my hands upon them again !!i could'nt wait to make flowers again & here i am up with a tutorial too on how to make them !!
the ribbon:
open it.fold it & trace d petal design:
then cut them up :
tie them placing 1 opposite d other using pips for the centre .cover the bottom with d green tape & a metal wire in centre:
make as many as u want with different designs. i made another big flower as i had to decorate a gift box :
this is my final decoration with some add ons :

oh boy !!i was almost missing out on Erum's ribbon flower challange on yvonne's blog..so i geared up to make my favourite flowers.
As yvonne is too fond of recycling....i used a ribbon that had come wrapped on a gift.i cut it & used it to create this flower :

well i'm trying to sound in d best of spirits ....'coz actually i'm fasting today :(
well....we are basically JAINS & hence tommorow being our forgiveness day we are fasting today....only on water ,no food for 32 hours.....i being a tea addict....have a little problem (no actually a BIG MIGRANE ).so to divert my attention i've been crafting whole day :))
i made this card for my cousin whose is just 3 mnths younger to me & will b celebrating her birthday on d 6 th.we r childhood buddies....had fun together,got scolded together....she was always mistaken as my twin as we were inseparable.......

i totally agree with kavi & i too always try to do something new.we may not be specialists of a particular style but at least we are learning something new all the time.:) here i made an explosion box on order. it took me a whole lot of time making but i'm finally happy because the person who bought it is happy n d one who recieved it is super happy !!
